As a Lead Graphic Designer at AT&T we create a large variety of assets for Corporate Communications, Media Productions, and the Social Media team. Below are a sample of event graphics, motion design, and social media design. Our team's goal during my time at AT&T was to elevate our visual presence to be seen as experts in the field of technology and innovation.
SOCIAL MEDIA
My team was originally the Social Lab team before transitioning to the Corporate Communications team. We were tasked with designing for AT&T and AT&T News' Instagram pages. We worked with social media strategists to ideate on visual solutions for various goals the marketing teams were trying to achieve, whether it was selling the latest phone or promoting a new AT&T product like Fiber.
We designed assets for a range of reasons from giveaways, cultural events like the Barbie phenomenon and Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, informational posts about disasters and safety, and other general promotional material.
MOTION GRAPHICS
One of our biggest goals in 2024 was to build out our motion graphics capabilities and to incorporate brand illustration. Using motion design we are able to create informational videos about key AT&T products like Fiber and Dynamic Defense. All videos were animated and designed by me from early storyboards, where we worked through scripting and timing of scenes, to final animation of text and illustrative assets.
EVENT GRAPHICS
Quarterly Earnings
Every quarter I am tasked to design the suite of assets for AT&T's Earnings announcements. This is a fast paced time so it is important to move efficiently. For 2025 I redesigned our assets for earnings which are centered around an infographic and is versioned out to a variety of other assets.
LEADING WITH DISTINCTION
Leading with Distinction was a multi-month national touring event that went to several AT&T hub cities and presented the strategies and plans for the future of the business.
As a Lead Designer on the Creative Lab team, I worked with members of the Media Productions team to design and produce upwards of 100 animated assets that would be projected during the event. This included creating the animated logo, session and speaker titles and photos, and interstitial graphics.
Key skills within this project included mapping graphics to the unique shaped and positioned circular screens, organization of the large number of assets, efficiency in production, and being quick on our feet when needing to make last minute changes on event days.
POSSIBILITY RALLY
Other design work was made for various events promoting employee engagement and AT&T's strategic goals for the quarter or year. These ranged from creating logos and visual systems to use during live broadcasts to creating banners and signage for internal employees to see. Above is various examples of graphics made for the Purpose Rally which happened quarterly to fill employees in on the latest innovations teams across the company were working on.
As the lead designer I was able to spearhead the beginning of the Digital Signage initiative which standardized event, announcement, and general visual assets that got deployed around core hub offices.
