APP DESIGN
The objective of the project was to create a unique product based on a Beatles song. Golden Slumbers is one of my favorite songs off of the Abbey Road album so I decided to make an app around tracking sleep patterns and dreams.
Programs used: Sketch, Invision, Adobe Creative Suite
To begin I started with finding my brand identity. I crafted different color combinations, designed the logo, and set a font and brand name lock up.
Next I designed a rough user flow to see how the user would navigate the website. I wasn't designing a fully functional app so I tried to focus on main features of the app.
FIRST ROUND DESIGN
I began my first proposed designs in order to test out different layouts and color combinations. These helped me see the physical pages come to life and where I had problems with usability where color and visualizations didn't work.
